Oracle is our July Sponsor of the Month
This month, we are thrilled to highlight our sponsor, Oracle.
For more than four decades, Oracle has delivered innovation upon which entire industries have been built. The company began as a startup in 1977 before going public in 1986 and continues to empower businesses of all sizes with enterprise cloud computing solutions worldwide. The company is also steadfast in its commitment to social responsibility. Through its corporate citizenship programs, Oracle is advancing education, protecting the environment, and strengthening communities around the world.
Like Oracle, Sequoia Awards recipients are dedicated to strengthening communities through volunteerism. In 2020, Oracle sponsored Sequoia Award recipient Paulina Arguello from Castilleja School. Since her freshman year, Paulina volunteered through her school’s Peninsula Bridge, a five-week summer program that helps underserved 5th graders get ready for middle school, including schools like Castilleja. As a proud alumnus of the program herself, Paulina is currently studying child development and psychology and working towards a career in social service.
The Sequoia Awards is honored to be among the organizations supported by Oracle, and we are grateful for their continuing sponsorship.
