Meet our March Sponsor of the Month W. L. Butler
We’re pleased to spotlight our March Sponsor of the Month, W. L. Butler.
Founded in 1975, W. L. Butler is a full-service general contractor committed to “Building What Matters” by creating relationships and providing superior quality and services that exceed expectations. They build for virtually every sector of the economy with a client list that includes Fortune 500 companies such as Target, Costco, Charles Schwab, Samsung, Whole Foods, and more. Headquartered in Redwood City, W. L. Butler employs nearly 200 team members with four offices throughout California. Their success is built on a company culture that puts people first. The company promotes honesty, fairness and respect among its team members, business partners and surrounding community. They are actively involved in charitable pursuits, allocating time, resources, and construction expertise to create change for those who need it most. In recognition of their many good works in the community, W. L. Butler was honored with the Sequoia Awards Outstanding Business Award in 1996.
In 2020, W. L. Butler sponsored a Sequoia Awards scholarship for Michelle Estrada from Sequoia High School. Michelle started volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank when she was in the 3rd grade and never stopped donating her time and talent to worthy causes. She is currently studying Business Management. Her long-term goal is to start her own non-profit organization benefiting the homeless that, she says, “will be founded on the idea of helping others.”
The Sequoia Awards is very fortunate to be among the organizations W. L. Butler supports, and we are grateful for their continuing sponsorship.
